We know coming up with new and exciting dinner ideas for the family can be tough, and incorporating healthy meals into the mix can be even harder. Chef Katie Sutton of Plancha Latin Kitchen is making eating healthy at home easier than ever by sharing the recipe for Plancha’s infamous Braised Greens!

We love to use these greens as a healthy base in bowls or wraps, but they are also delicious on their own or as a side dish!  Braised greens can be made using whatever greens you’re able to get your hands on – kale, Swiss chard, beet greens, collard greens, etc. And the best part about this recipe, is you don’t need a ton of complex ingredients – Chef Katie’s recipe is simple and to-the-point!

Ingredients:
– ½ cup Olive Oil
– 4 cups Yellow Onions, Sliced 
– 2 TB Garlic, Minced 
– 4 qts Chopped Kale, packed (or greens of choice)
– ¼ cup Apple Cider Vinegar 
– 1 cup Water 
– 1 tsp Kosher Salt 
– ½ tsp Black Pepper
