Introducing Adriana! Adriana is a server at Panini Kabob Grill and has been with the company for four years. Adriana shares some insight into why it is so fun to work at LBX along with some of her go-to items on PKG’s menu.

  1. Why do you love working at LBX and/or what’s a favorite memory from your time working at the center?

My name is Adriana and I am a waitress here at Panini Kabob Grill. I started at the Playa Vista location and now am here at LBX. I love working at LBX because, first of all, the company is very caring about their employees and at this specific location, we treat each other like family. If there is a lunch rush or if I need to take a break, I know I can count on my coworkers to take care of my section and treat the guest the way they’re supposed to be treated. I love working at LBX because it’s such a good environment. There are a wide variety of people here and everyone comes from different places – either they live around here or they’re visiting. I have so many memories from my time at PKG, but one in specific that always sticks out to me is an elderly lady who comes in on a regular basis. I know her order, so every time she comes in, I always say, “the usual?” and she smiles and says, “you know it.” 

  1. How did you get into / become passionate about the food industry?

I love working at Panini Kabob Grill. I started as a server’s assistant 4 years ago  and I grew my passion for service as I started working and seeing smiles on guests’ faces as they enjoy a good meal.

  1. What is your favorite dish on the menu?

There are so many yummy dishes on the menu, but one of my favorites is the chicken kabob. I usually get it with a side of Mediterranean Greek salad with some basmati rice. And you can’t forget the grilled serranos! They give a nice spicy touch to the dish. I also love the tiramisu – oh my gosh, it is AMAZING. Everything here is made from scratch, so I highly recommend coming in to try the tiramisu. 

  1. What is your favorite restaurant at LBX besides PKG and why? 

After a day of work, I like to walk around The Hangar because there are so many different varieties of restaurants and foods inside. On a hot day, I like to enjoy some boba, and on a morning, I like to have some donuts.

  1. Is there anything you would like to say to the Long Beach community at large?

Well, I grew up in Long Beach and I just love it here. The vibe and community are great. Everyone I see is so friendly and the beach is just so close. It’s home. If you come to Long Beach, you have to come to LBX and if you haven’t been here, you’re definitely missing out!
